I have always had a passion for creating imagery. From a young age, I was constantly drawing and painting. As a teenager, I developed an interest in photography and carried my Canon AE1 with me everywhere. In high school, I took art and drafting classes, further fueling my creative drive.
In 1998, I moved to San Francisco to attend the Academy of Art University, where I studied Animation and Visual Effects. Since then, I’ve worked across various industries, including film, advertising, video games, architecture, and even generative AI.
I still live in San Francisco with my wife, Steph, and our dog, Kaiju.

Many of us have photographs tucked away in attics, forgotten for decades. In today’s fast-paced digital age, cherished portraits, Kodachrome slides, and old vacation snapshots are slowly fading. These precious moments risk being lost forever, like tears in the rain.(Pardon my nerdi-ness) But it doesn’t have to be that way! Contact me to scan, digitize, and restore these priceless memories. After all, our past is what shapes our future.
With hundreds of different kinds of projects in my portfolio, and over 20 years of project development under my belt, I can help flesh out ideas, create style frames and briefs, and delegate to various team members. I have worked in almost every facet of image and video creation, and can maintain a unique style while adhering to brand requirements.
In film and television production, a visual effects supervisor is responsible for realizing the creative vision of the director or producers through visual effects. I’ve fulfilled this role on numerous indie films and commercial shoots, and I know how to deliver what you need within your budget.
